Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and relates to you.

LandTheJobAI generates and tailors resumes against job descriptions you provide, using artificial intelligence, and offers related materials such as mock-interview preparation, cover letters, and outreach drafts. Output quality depends on the accuracy and completeness of what you give us. You are responsible for reviewing every resume and document before sending it to an employer or any third party — you, not LandTheJobAI, attest to its contents.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Notify us promptly at support@landthejobai.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Most features run on credits. Generating a resume consumes one credit; generating a mock interview, a cover letter, or the outreach bundle likewise consumes one credit for that artifact. One credit covers the whole artifact and its included variations — a mock interview includes all four interview styles, a cover letter includes three freshly written letters in any combination of its three tones (each letter a single tone or an equal blend; writing a fourth letter consumes another credit, which includes three more), and the outreach bundle includes all seven messages — which you build one at a time; building included variations, or re-opening one you have already generated, is included at no additional charge; requesting a fresh version of an outreach message you have already built is likewise free, currently up to ten fresh versions per application. Other features are included at no extra charge too — for example, each generated resume and each generated cover letter currently includes five free refinements, and spending three credits on a single application (directly or via its bundle) currently unlocks that application's remaining generation features at no extra charge; we may adjust included allowances going forward. Credits are obtained as one-time credit packs, or granted to you at no charge during the beta. Packs are billed through our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices are shown at purchase and may exclude applicable taxes, which are your responsibility. Credits have no cash value, do not expire, are not transferable, and are licensed to you, not sold. We may change prices on a going-forward basis with notice; a change never affects credits you already hold.

When you spend a credit, you are paying for the optimization work the Service performs — analyzing the job, constructing and auditing the resume, and rendering your document — and the computing resources that work consumes. You are not paying for any particular ATS score, percentage, keyword match, search ranking, interview, or job outcome.

Because each generation is a digital service performed and delivered to you immediately, spent credits are non-refundable, except: (a) if a generation fails on our side and does not produce a usable document, the credit is refunded automatically; and (b) where a refund is required by law. Credits granted free during the beta have no cash value and are not refundable.

As a courtesy, unused credit packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you have not spent them — just contact support@landthejobai.com.

Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country or state. If you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, you agree that, by spending a credit, you ask us to begin the service immediately and you acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once the generation is complete.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first. Initiating a chargeback for credits already delivered may result in suspension of your account while we investigate.

LandTheJobAI optimizes your resume to the highest keyword match your real experience legitimately supports. We do not guarantee any specific ATS score, percentage, keyword-match level, search ranking, interview, offer, or employment outcome. A score reflects how well your experience matches a specific job and depends entirely on the information you provide. We do not fabricate experience; where your background cannot support a higher score, the Service tells you why.

Resumes and other materials are produced by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You must review and verify all output before relying on it or submitting it to anyone. You are solely responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of any document you submit to an employer.

Do not use the Service to: misrepresent your identity, experience, or credentials; submit or process another person's personal data without their permission; upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; or probe, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service's security, rate limits, or access controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

You own the background you provide, the job descriptions you supply, and the resumes and materials we generate for you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the Service, including sending it to our AI provider for processing. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models. You represent that you have the right to provide the content you submit.

The Service itself — including our software, resume templates, designs, and the LandTheJobAI name and logo — is owned by Kian Darian and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal job search. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the Service itself.

The LandTheJobAI Job Clipper helps you capture a job posting — or, on your own LinkedIn profile page, your own profile information — from a page you are viewing and bring it into the Service for your own use. It runs in your browser, and you are responsible for using it in compliance with the terms of the sites you visit. We may update or discontinue the extension at any time.

Organization workspaces let recruiters and agencies generate tailored materials for candidates they represent. If you use a workspace, you represent that you have each candidate's permission to submit their information and to receive generated materials on their behalf, and that your use complies with the laws that apply to your recruiting activity. Candidate information you add is visible to the other members of your workspace. Workspace output is a drafting aid for preparing application materials — it is not designed for, and must not be used for, evaluating, ranking, or screening candidates or making hiring decisions. A candidate whose information was added to a workspace may contact support@landthejobai.com to have it removed.

The Service relies on third parties — including Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), and our hosting and infrastructure providers. Your use may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. See our Privacy Policy for how data is shared with them.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we protect it, and the retention schedule and legacy-record remediation status that apply to stored content. By using the Service, you agree to that policy.

The Service is currently offered as a beta/prototype. It may change, break, or have features added or removed without notice, and we do not offer any uptime or service-level guarantee during this period. We may delete beta data and reset free beta credits as the Service evolves; credits you purchased are never affected.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty as to accuracy, reliability, or availability. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kian Darian will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kian Darian from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you submit, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you do not own a recruiter workspace, you may delete your account from the account page. Workspace owners must contact support@landthejobai.com so the workspace can be transferred or deleted before account erasure. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date or notifying you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before bringing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@landthejobai.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute that is not resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

LandTheJobAI improves how well a resume matches a job description. It does not and cannot guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.
